Reading – Writing – Math – Computers

The Ontario Adult Literacy Curriculum Framework (OALCF) defines how adult skills upgrading is delivered in upgrading programs across the province.  The OALCF identifies five goal paths for people going through our programs:  Employment, Apprenticeship, Secondary School Credit, Post-Secondary and Independence.  The OALCF also defines six competencies (skills and abilities) that we all need to achieve these goals at work, in the community, and at home.  Learning skills this way helps you understand WHY you need to learn them, and how you’ll use them later.

One to One Tutoring

A trained tutor is assigned to work with you, an adult learner, on improving your skills to reach your goals!  Tutoring sessions are private and confidential.

Small Group

In our small group classes, with the help of a trained tutor, learners work on individual programs which help them develop the skills they need to reach or move towards their individual goals.
